Join Tripconnection Holidays for a 7-day trek through Sikkim’s breathtaking landscapes. Starting from Yuksom, journey through lush forests, cross suspension bridges, and ascend to Dzongri for stunning views of Kanchenjunga and other Himalayan peaks. With serene campsites and a day to acclimatize, this trek offers the perfect mix of adventure and natural beauty.

Highlights: Scenic drive, Inner Line Permit (ILP) at Melli, guesthouse stay Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, you'll be greeted by our representative and driven to Yuksom. En route, you'll stop at Melli to obtain the ILP (if required). Yuksom serves as the base camp for the trek. Dinner and overnight stay are arranged at a guesthouse.

Highlights: Trekking through lush forests, crossing suspension bridges, campsite stay The trek begins at Yuksom market, heading north along the trail to the right bank of the Ratong Chu River. The route involves crossing four suspension bridges and ascending steeply to Bakkhim, a quaint settlement. From here, the trail passes through dense forests of rhododendron and magnolia before reaching Tsokha. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the campsite.

Highlights: Rhododendron forests, panoramic views, campsite stay The trek from Tsokha ascends through vibrant rhododendron forests to Phedang (3,650 m), a journey that takes about three hours. After a brief rest, the trail continues towards Dzongri. Upon arrival, the campsite will be set up for dinner and an overnight stay.

Highlights: Panoramic mountain views, Dzongri Top hike Spend the day acclimatizing at Dzongri. Hike to Dzongri Top to enjoy breathtaking views of peaks such as Pandim, Kabru, Kanchenjunga, Narsingh, Koktang, and Ratong. The Singalila Ridge, marking the border between Nepal and Sikkim, is also visible. Dinner and overnight stay are arranged at the campsite.

Highlights: Return journey through scenic trails Begin your descent back to Tsokha, retracing your steps through the picturesque landscape. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the campsite.

Highlights: Easy downhill trek, guesthouse stay On the final trekking day, descend back to Yuksom. The trail is mostly downhill, making it a relatively easy trek. Dinner and overnight stay are arranged at a guesthouse.

Highlights: Return journey After breakfast, drive back to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey.
